Adjusting the Container Weight of your Industrial Scale

When using one of our industrial scales, we ask users to provide a container weight. The container weight should align with the weight of your empty container, along with any added accessories placed on the scale that should not be included in the total product weight i.e. feet, safety rings, chains, etc.

1

Determine the container weight

Determine the container weight needed to be added to the dashboard. The container weight should align with the weight of your empty container, along with any added accessories placed on the scale that should not be included in the total product weight i.e. feet, safety rings, chains, etc.

Manufacturers post the weight of their vessels in their documentation. For some commonly used tank documentation, visit the following vendor sites:

If container weight is not listed in the resources above, the empty container can be determined using our instant readings button.

Add your empty container to the scale, and push the instant readings button located on the faceplate of the scale to trigger a burst of instant readings. Total gross weight will be available on your Pulsa dashboard immediately.

Record the measures received to enter as container weight at the next step.

Note: If any existing container weight exists, this will be included in your instant readings.
