How to update Pulsa Link measure delay settings

The relay period refers to the time elapsed between consecutive sensor measurements. Update the relay period on your Pulsa Link to conserve and extend battery life.

  • Delay 1: Measures will be relayed every 3 minutes
  • Delay 2: Measures will be relayed every 6 minutes - increases battery expectancy by 2x
  • Delay 3: Measures will be relayed every 15 minutes - increases battery expectancy by 5x

Access Link delay switch

  • Access the Link delay switch by removing the Pulsa Link battery
  • Removing the circuit board from the Pulsa Link should not be necessary
  • There will be 2 switches available on the circuit board. A 2 option switch to select between 15V and 5V, and a 3 option switch which selects measure time relay.

Select Delay mode

  • Select your preferred Delay time setting
  • Delay 1: Measures will be relayed every 3 minutes
  • Delay 2: Measures will be relayed every 6 minutes
  • Delay 3: Measures will be relayed every 15 minutes

Clear Pulsa Link timing memory

  • To confirm the selected relay measure is updated, the Link's timing memory must be cleared.
  • Clear your Pulsa Link's timing memory by touching both the negative and positive sides of the metal portions of the battery cradle for 2 full seconds ("one thousand 1, one thousand 2").
  • Notice that it's easy to touch the spring (negative side) and you must aim your screw driver to touch the positive side exposed metal.

Reinsert Pulsa battery and close Pulsa Link

  • Reinsert the Link Battery once the timing switch has been updated and the timing memory has been reset
  • Reseal the Link battery

Confirm updated measures

Once the battery has been replaced, the Pulsa Link should transmit a new measure and update on the dashboard within a few minutes.

Confirm measures are accurate and Link is working as expected
